I've Installed Tankless Electric Hot Water
Heaters In My Home And Can Only Say
The Nicest Things To Say About Them

The two main reasons I invested in a tankless electric hot water unit are savings and longevity.

The two main reasons I invested in a tankless electric hot water unit are savings and longevity.

Why I Invested In My Tankless Electric Hot Water Unit

When I looked at the electric tankless vs tank water heater, the investment was really worth it for me. And while it's true that on-demand tankless units cost from $500 for a three element to $600 for a top of the line four element, the unit will eventually pay for itself.

In fact, I'm expecting my tankless electric hot water heater will last 15 to 20 years compared to the 10 year lifespan of a regular water heater.

I have installed small "kicker units" to boost hot water to a far bathroom to a full size unit that handles a 4 bedroom house. I prefer electric to gas if only because electricity doesn't risk explosion.

I Like The Fact That The Electric Tankless Water Heater Unit Is Very Robust

The electric tankless hot water heater will not leak or rupture and stays 99.5% efficient through out its lifespan.

When You Compare The Tankless Water Heater To The Traditional One, The Savings Are Worth It

When I did the math, was happy to see that my electric tankless water heater will definitely pay for itself.

  • I can expect a savings of 20 to 40% on your electric water heater bill.

  • I figure this to be the savings I will reap over the years plus the savings in the replacement cost of having to replace a traditional water heater.
